Set scheduling reminders for candidates and interviewers
Table of Contents
Scheduling reminders can be created and managed with the help of your CS Representative for both candidates and employees who need to take action on scheduling invitations. Once set, reminders will be automatically sent out for you.
Scheduling reminder settings
When setting scheduling reminders, they can be set for the following milestones:
-
Candidates:
- Reminder for the candidate to select an interview time.
- Reminder of the date and time of a scheduled interview.
- Note: These are defaulted to on and cannot be removed from the reminder settings.
-
Employees:
- Reminder for the interview owner after an attendee has declined.
- Reminder for employees after an interview has been scheduled.
- Reminder for employees that have not responded to an interview invite.
- Reminder for the interview owner after an attendee has proposed a new time.
- Note: Any of these reminders can be removed from use, but at least one must be configured at a given time.
In addition to these reminder types, the following settings can be adjusted for each reminder.
-
Frequency – The cadence in which reminders will be sent out to candidates/employees. By default, at least two options will be selected, but these can be deselected as needed. In this section, you can:
- Select the preferred sequence.
- Build a custom sequence.
- Note: The minimum is five minutes.
- Channel – The contact method in which notifications can be sent through. The options listed will depend on the communication channels enabled on your account. This selection is not editable for Candidate Reminders, as that is up to the candidates, but it is editable for employees if there are multiple channels configured on the account.
