Certain System Attribute permissions allow users to unmask attributes in several places in the CEM and in reporting.
Use cases
- Users who want more flexible data visibility for compliance purposes at their organization.
- Users who want more transparency of candidate data at key points in the hiring lifecycle.
- Teams who want to audit address data as it relates to candidate and application data.
Unmasking values in the Candidate Profile
If given the permission to unmask attributes in the Candidate Profile, you will see an eye icon next to System Attributes in the Candidate Summary, Attribute drawer, and conversation messages. Clicking this eye icon will unmask the attribute in any of the below areas:
- Hire Details - Forms
- Hire Details - Offers
Mask attribute
When an attribute has been unmasked anywhere in the Candidate Profile, it can be hidden once more by clicking the eye icon again.
Additional unmasking areas
Integration Center - Audit logs
When given full access to the Integration Center - Audit Logs child permission, this will show all masked attribute values in the Integration Center audit logs.
Reporting and analytics
When given full access to the Reporting and Analytics child permission, this will show all masked attribute values in any standard report.
Permissions
Your CS Representative will need to provide all of the necessary user roles the Attribute Visibility permission for one or more of the following system areas so that they can unmask their attributes:
- Candidate Profile
- Hire Details - Forms
- Hire Details - Offers
- Integration Center - Audit Logs
- Reporting and Analytics
