Configuration Step #1: Update the System Attribute Step #2: Edit Job Data Packages Step #3: Update the job Step #4: Mark a job as sponsored in My Jobs Step #5: Enable the Standard Feed Continue to mark jobs as sponsored jobs

If your team sponsors jobs through third-party agencies, then users will have the ability to mark a job as sponsor within the Paradox system, letting the agency know that they want to sponsor it when it is sent to them.

A Sponsor Job Custom Job Attribute supports the sending of sponsorship details to recruiting agencies. This node is automatically added to the Standard Job Feed, and once configured accurately, the necessary jobs will be listed in the feed as wanting to be sponsored.

    Configuration

Step #1: Update the System Attribute

Set up the Sponsor Job Custom Attribute as having a Yes/No list select option and add this attribute to the necessary Job Data Package(s). Once configured, jobs can have this attribute selected as either sponsored (Yes) or not (No) in My Jobs.

Users with full access to System Attributes will be able to complete the below steps.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select System Attributes under the Company section.
    3. From the left panel, open the Job Attributes section and then Custom category.
    4. Click into the Sponsor Job attribute.
    5. Select List Select as the Attribute Type under the Attribute Details section in the drawer that opens.
    6. Open to the List Select Configuration tab.
    7. Select the + Add List Item button.
    8. Enter Yes as the List item. The Value field will be automatically updated to display this value.
    9. Select + Add List Item in the bottom right corner of the slide-out drawer.
    10. Repeat steps #7-9 for a No list item.
    11. Save the custom Job Attribute.

Step #2: Edit Job Data Packages

Users with full access to Job Data Packages will be able to complete the below steps.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Job Data Packages under the Jobs section.
    3. Click into the preferred Job Data Package or create a new package from the page that opens.
    4. In the slide-out drawer that opens, select the + Add Job Data button.
    5. Scroll down until you see Custom Attributes.
    6. Check the box next to Sponsor Job.
    7. Select Apply.
    8. Once added, select the No value as the job’s default value so that users can switch it to Yes when wanting to sponsor the job.
    9. Select Save to finalize the changes made.

    Step #3: Update the job

Users with full access to Jobs will be able to complete the below steps.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Job Manager under the Jobs section.
    3. Open the preferred job category and then job.
    4. In the Overview section of the Job Builder, select + Add Details next to Additional Details at the bottom of the page.
    5. In the slide-out drawer that opens, select the Job Data Package tied to this job.
    6. Select Configure Locations.
    7. Add the necessary locations.
    8. Select Save.
    9. Select Configure Permissions.
    10. Select Enable Editing in My Jobs.
    11. Save the changes made.
    12. Select Next in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
    13. Select Save on the following page.
    14. Ensure to publish the job to mark it as active.

Step #4: Mark a job as sponsored in My Jobs

Users with full access to My Jobs will be able to complete the below steps.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then My Jobs from its drop-down menu.
    2. Click into the preferred active job or toggle on an inactive job.
    3. Within the Additional Details section of the modal that opens, Sponsor Job will be listed and defaulted to No. Update this, if needed.
    4. Select Update Job Posting or Post Job, depending on the action initially taken.

Repeat this job for all active jobs that should have a Sponsor Job attribute value of Yes. This will notify the third party that you want to sponsor this job.

Step #5: Enable the Standard Feed

Only customer users can enable job board toggles.

    1. Navigate back to the Job Manager page.
    2. Open the Job Distribution section from the left panel.
    3. Enable the Standard Job Feed widget, if it is not already enabled.
    4. Click the widget’s action menu, or ellipses.
    5. Select Copy Feed.

The feed will include this Sponsor Job attribute with the value saved for each job. This feed should be sent to the your third-party recruiting agency so they can see which jobs should be sponsored and which should not.

Continue to mark jobs as sponsored jobs

When turning jobs on in My Jobs, a user can select Yes from the Sponsor Job selector before posting the job. This will ensure that relevant jobs continue to be sponsored correctly by the corresponding third party agencies.
