    This September 9th release includes the following enhancements. These updates are subject to change until the day of the release.

     

     

    Happy September! 🎉 We've been working on updates to help your teams hire faster and smarter. 

    Here's the latest feature releases and improvements.

     

    Accessibility

    Accessibility updates to the widget

    You can now offer a more inclusive and compliant experience for all candidates who interact with your widget. We've improved functionality for screen readers and keyboard-only navigation while also enhancing overall visibility and color contrast. You no longer need to see confusing, non-descriptive announcements when using a screen reader. This ensures an effortless experience for every user. Additionally, we have made accessibility updates to our Terms and Conditions modal.

    Role impact and feature activation

    All external users and candidates who interact with the widget are affected by this enhancement by default.

    These accessibility improvements are automatically available and applied to the widget. 

     
     

     

    Approvals

    Approvals are now available in the recruiting dashboard

    We've updated the Recruiting Dashboard to give you a central location for all your tasks. You can now manage all your job and offer approval requests directly from your Recruiting Dashboard. You no longer need to switch between your email, Approvals, and the Candidate Inbox to get tasks done. Now, you can take action on approvals, provide a reason for denial for a clear audit trail, and manage your tasks from one location.

    Role impact and feature activation

    This update impacts clients who use Approvals and the Recruiting Dashboard, including all user roles except Basic/Limited Users by default.

    This feature is automatically available in the Recruiting Dashboard, and any user assigned as an approver will begin to see these tasks in their dashboard

     
     

     

    Candidate Profile

    Easily access the latest and most relevant documents in your hiring process

    You are now able to view a new dedicated Files section in the candidate profile of the most recent documents. You no longer need to navigate through multiple forms to find the most current document. This enhancement provides a single source of truth for all candidate documents, reducing confusion and helping to streamline compliance and the hiring process.

    This enhancement impacts all users except for Basic/Limited Users who need quick access to documents and forms. 

    This new section automatically displays on all candidate profiles, with no extra configuration needed.

     
     

     

    Contextual Q&A

    Control emojis in your responses

    We added a new setting that allows you to choose whether the AI assistant includes emojis in its responses, giving you greater personalization for your brand. This enhancement allows you to fine-tune the tone of your AI assistant’s responses to match your brand's voice. You no longer need to worry about emojis appearing in responses that feel off-brand.

    This enhancement impacts Paradox Admins, who can disable this setting in Client Setup.

    This setting can be configured the Contextual Q&A section of Client Setup. This setting is enabled by default.

     
     

     

    Conversational ATS

    Advanced shifts

    For our Conversational ATS clients, you can now define shifts with specific start times, end times, and days of the week in a new, advanced interface within the Jobs builder. You no longer need to manually cross-reference candidate availability with shift schedules. This enhancement provides a more powerful and flexible way to manage shift-based roles, ensuring candidates are screened based on their exact availability and streamlining the hiring process for high-volume roles. 

    Role impact and feature activation

    This update impacts Default/Company Account Admins, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers who manage shift-based jobs. All clients currently using shifts will be seamlessly migrated to this new experience.

    This can be added to any job and is only currently available for Conversational ATS clients.

     
     

     

    Conversational Events

    Auto-generate virtual meeting URLs for your hiring and orientation events

    You can now can automatically generate video meeting links and passwords for virtual event sessions if your integrated video provider is Zoom, WebEx, or Microsoft Teams. You no longer need to leave the platform to manually create and paste meeting URLs into each virtual session. This enhancement eliminates the manual process of creating and adding video meeting links, saving you valuable time and streamlining your event creation workflow.

    This feature impacts Default Company/Account Admins, Supervisors, Recruiters, and Reporting Users. 

    This feature is automatically available for clients who have one of our supported video providers (WebEx, Zoom, or MS Teams) selected in Client Setup.

     
     

     

    Job Management

    More validation for job pay rates in your job data packages 

    You can now ensure pay accuracy with a new standard job attribute, Base Pay Actual. You no longer need to manually check if a hiring manager has entered a pay rate outside the acceptable range. This new attribute automatically validates against a job's approved pay range, which prevents misrepresenting a role's compensation and provides a more transparent experience for candidates.

    This enhancement impacts Hiring Managers, Recruiters who use the Jobs Builder and My Jobs, and admin users and system implementors who configure Job Data Packages. 

    This new standard job attribute is automatically available to use and can be added to a Job Data Package.

     
     

     

    Integrated jobs

    We are rolling out significant updates to our Job Management system to provide a more powerful and efficient experience. You can now manage both Paradox Jobs and Integrated Jobs in a single, unified view within the Jobs app. You no longer need to navigate to separate sections of the platform to manage different job types, which means you'll no longer have to rely on complex workarounds to manage job data and permissions outside of your ATS. These changes are part of our commitment to offering you greater flexibility and a streamlined workflow, including the ability to add richer job data and create custom hiring team roles.

    This enhancement impacts all clients who manage jobs in Paradox.

    Clients will be migrated to this new experience over the coming months. Please reach out to your CS Representative for more information on your migration plan.

     
     

     

    Platform

    Search for deactivated users

    We've updated user search to be quicker and more intuitive! You can easily toggle between active and deactivated users with a new checkbox, eliminating the need for keyword searches. Your search results will smartly adjust, helping you find the right team member, whether they are active or deactivated.

    This functionality is automatically available when you are filtering for employees.

     
     

     

    SMS

    EU ideal sender - region recognition

    You can now use a single AI phone number for all EU countries on the SMS Country Whitelist. You no longer need to configure separate numbers for each EU country. This update improves SMS coverage and efficiency for our European clients by enabling seamless cross-border communication and simplifying configuration for clients operating in multiple countries.

    This enhancement impacts Paradox Admins and all clients with an EU presence. 

    Admin users and system implementors can configure phone numbers in the Phone Numbers section of Settings.

     
     

     

    Scheduling

    Permissions for manual scheduling actions

    This update introduces granular user-level permissions for scheduling. You can now control which users can perform specific scheduling actions, such as editing or canceling interviews. You no longer need to rely on manual workarounds to prevent users from taking actions outside of their role. This empowers you to tailor the platform to your unique organizational structure and ensures that each user has access only to the scheduling functions relevant to their job.

    This update impacts all users except for Basic/Limited Users. 

    This feature can be configured in Roles and Permissions. For all existing client accounts, a migration will occur that sets the new scheduling permissions to Full Access for all roles to ensure no disruption to their current functionality.

     
     

     

    Workflows

    New workflows design and overhaul

    You can now use a new, re-designed builder with enhanced zoom controls and a hand tool for easier navigation on the canvas. You no longer need to manually add every journey status to a workflow; they are now automatically pre-populated as locked tasks. This redesign delivers a modern, intuitive, and scalable user experience that simplifies how you build and manage automation, which improves overall usability.

    This redesign impacts Paradox Admins and Default Company/Account Admins who access Workflows. 

    This design automatically applies to Workflows.

     
     

     

     

    Depending on the Paradox products your company has purchased, not all of these updates may apply to you. If you have any questions or need further information, please reach out to your dedicated Paradox Client Success Manager. 

     

    Minor enhancements

    Assistant Messaging 
    A logic issue has been fixed that prevented users from editing WhatsApp templates in Assistant Messaging, even when the templates were not required.

    Campus
    Users who are not part of a Campus Team can now be added as an event manager for a campus event.

    When replacing an image in the Campus Builder, the new image now switches directly without reverting to the upload state.

    The next/create buttons in the Campus Builder are now disabled until all required fields have been filled out.

    Contextual AI
    Internal notifications are now sent when a client toggles off any of the four Contextual AI capabilities.

    Events

    • The event creator will now receive a calendar invitation for the event they created.
    • The Middle Initial field can now be hidden from the Event Registration Form, and this setting is enabled by default for all new forms.

    Multilingual

    Punctuation for the To review terms, click here phrase in Japanese has been corrected to ensure proper localization.
