EU region recognition EU countries on the SMS Country Whitelist Navigation Phone numbers section

Phone Numbers are the phone numbers used by your AI Assistant to communicate with candidates. You can build an unlimited amount of AI Phone Numbers that can cater to the many conversations built for your account.

    EU region recognition

This enhancement does not impact customers who do not have an EU presence.

    Important Notes:

    • The EU Ideal Sender is not recommended for customers sending messages to candidates in the following regions due to carrier limitations:
      • Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia.
    • Our system prioritizes sending SMS messages from existing in-country phone numbers for candidates with the same country code.
    • The EU Ideal Sender is a valuable solution for clients who do not have an in-country phone number, using a number from a country with available inventory (Sweden or Netherlands) to send and receive messages from candidates in countries with no available inventory.

As of September 2025, all customers will have the option to determine whether they want to use a set country code to prevent regional blocking from occurring and providing them access to candidates across the EU via SMS. This is extremely beneficial, as you no longer have to use a specific country code per country to contact candidates in that country.

Your options for choosing an EU-based AI phone number include the following:

    • Sweden (+46) (Recommended)
    • Netherlands (+31)

Contact your CS Representative to make your selection for you on the backend. Once a selection is made, an AI phone number can be added to the system on your behalf with that country code. This new phone number will then allow all EU countries to be whitelisted for it, automatically enabling your AI Assistant to communicate across EU countries from that phone number.

EU countries on the SMS Country Whitelist

The following countries support successful two-way SMS when using an EU Ideal Sender:

    • Denmark
    • Estonia
    • Germany
    • Lithuania
    • Netherlands
    • Portugal
    • Spain
    • Sweden
