Add IP addresses Edit or remove IP addresses FAQs Will IP addresses carry over when an account is cloned?

You have the option to whitelist your IP addresses for API access within an account for an additional layer of security. Whitelisted IP addresses will then have Public API access and Custom Inbound Access for your account only.

    Important Notes:

    • Paradox’s IP addresses will automatically be whitelisted for each account.
    • At this time, Interview Alerts API does not support the whitelist feature.

    Add IP addresses

    1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
    3. Client Setup will then open. From the left panel, scroll down to and open the Data Privacy section.
    4. Scroll down to the API Whitelist field.
    5. Select the + Add IP Address button.
    6. In the slide-out drawer that opens, enter the Starting IP Address and, if applicable, an Ending IP Address. This must be a unique value.
      • Note: These fields only support numeric values and the period (.) and dash (-) special characters.
    7. Enter in a description for this IP address for easy reference.
      • Note: This field supports a max of 40 characters.
    8. Select Save in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
    9. The IP address will then be added to the API Whitelist. Repeat these steps in order to add additional IP addresses.
    10. When all IP addresses are added, ensure to save the page.

    Edit or remove IP addresses

When hovering over existing IP addresses added to the account, click the action menu, or ellipses, of the preferred IP address. A drop-down menu will then display with the following options:

    • Edit – Select this to make changes to the IP address. The IP address’s details will then open in a slide-out drawer where you can make and save the necessary changes.
    • Remove – Select this to delete the IP address from the list. A warning modal will then display where you can click Confirm to remove the IP address.

Ensure to click Save to finalize the changes made.
