In order to prevent a SMS Pumping Fraud issue, all non-local phone numbers except US, CA, and UK phone numbers will be blocked from sending out SMS notifications. A new SMS Country Whitelist selector on the backend allows your team to select the countries that can be sent SMS messages without a phone number configured on your account. 

In order to prevent a SMS Pumping Fraud Issue, only US, UK, CA, and country phone numbers configured on your account will be able to receive SMS messages without issue. By default, all other countries will be blocked from sending SMS messages.

Enable additional countries to receive SMS messages

To enable other countries access to receive SMS messages from the system without having phone numbers for those countries, users with full access to Client Setup can complete the below steps.

1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
2. From the Settings page, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
3. Client Setup will then open. From the left panel, scroll down to and open the More section.
4. Select and apply the countries that should be whitelisted from the SMS Country Whitelist selector. 
5. Save the page.
