If an interview is moved into an Interview Complete status before it was originally supposed to end, then the time of the interview will end at the next closest 5 minute mark (e.g. 10:13 → 10:15), and the system will then mark the rest of the time as available for Scheduling.
Availability cannot be added to past dates.
When adding a block of open interview times (OIT), the user will have choices to specify each OIT time block.
- OIT by Group – This allows candidates from the selected job group to be scheduled in this specific time block.
-
OIT by Requisition ID – This will specify the OIT in a user’s calendar based on requisitions they have permission to, such as Groups, Journey Targeting, and more. For Calendar Management, the person managing the other users' calendars will only see requisitions that the latter has access to.
-
Notes:
- Location calendars are not associated with assigned requisitions and, therefore, cannot have OITs set by requisition ID. Only user calendars can have OIT blocks configured this way.
- This option will only be available if Jobs is disabled for the account.
-
Notes:
- OIT by Location – This will schedule candidates who apply for jobs at the specified locations for the set time block.
-
OIT by Interview Type – This will only allow interviews that fall within the specified interview types to be scheduled in this time block.
- For example: If only In-Person Interviews and Phone Interviews were selected, only interviews with those types would be able to be scheduled.
- OIT by Single Candidate Interview/Group Interview – This allows the user to determine whether candidates in that block should be scheduled for single/individual interviews or group interviews with other candidates. Group interview specifications allow for a specific number of candidates to be set.
OIT + events
When a user is added as an interviewer for an event, times outside of their OIT will display a Hiring Event block that cannot be edited. This will then reserve those times for the event while also allowing the interviewer to manage their existing OIT as needed.
However, it is important to note that an event interview cannot be scheduled over the interviewer’s existing busy times (set on their connected calendar or for scheduled interviews).
