Create a mapped value Import mapped values Edit mapped values Export mapped values Duplicate or remove mapped values

The Mapped Values list houses all mapped value sets created in the account. Mapped values are used to map a set of inputs to a set of outputs, similar to Python Dictionary mapping. This is often used to translate data into the format it needs to be in, such as state names to state abbreviations. If you apply a map to a single item, it will check if the item is in the list of inputs for the given map, and if so, it will change the item to the output corresponding to said input.

    Create a mapped value

    To create a mapped value,

    1. Open the Mapped Values section of the Integration Center.
    2. Click the + Create New Value button.
    3. A slide-out drawer will then open. Enter in a Map Name and Description, if preferred.
    4. Enter in the Input value in Paradox and its corresponding Output value in the system of record.
    5. Click + Add Mapped Value to add additional inputs and outputs.
    6. Select Save to save the new value.

    Import mapped values

You can import mapped values by clicking the Import icon button next to the + Create New Value button, dragging and dropping or clicking and browsing for the preferred file, and then clicking Import.

    Edit mapped values

You can edit mapped values by either clicking the preferred value from the Mapped Values list or hovering over the preferred mapped value, clicking its ellipses icon, and then selecting Edit. A slide-out drawer will then open where you can edit, add, or delete inputs and outputs as well as update the Map Name and Description.

    Export mapped values

You can easily export mapped values in bulk by clicking the Export All icon button next to the + Create New Value button above the list.

    Duplicate or remove mapped values

From the row's ellipses, you can duplicate a mapped value to more efficiently make multiple mapped values or select Remove to delete a mapped value.
