Lookup Tables store data used to calculate System Attributes automatically. This is extremely beneficial when using in Job Data Packages and integrations, where values need to be dynamically updated based on multiple factors.

    Use cases

    • Compensation teams who need to automatically calculate pay ranges based on job grade, location, and other factors without manually updating individual job records
    • Integration specialists who need to map multiple input values to a single output in Integration Center, going beyond the single-input limitation of Mapped Values
    • Talent acquisition teams managing large job volumes where pay rates or other attributes vary by location and need to stay current with centrally managed compensation tables

    Configuration

This feature is enabled by default but will need to be set up in order to be utilized. Follow the steps outlined here to complete this process.

    Navigation

To access Lookup Tables, users with full or view access to the Lookup Tables permission can complete the below steps.

    1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from the drop-down menu.
    2. From the Settings page, select Lookup Tables under the Platform section.

The Lookup Tables page will then open where you can view and manage Lookup Tables, depending on your permissions.

    Lookup Tables page

When you open the Lookup Tables page, you will see two options in the left panel that, when clicked, will open their corresponding list. These include:

    • Active – This list houses all active Lookup Tables used within the account.
    • Archived – This list houses all archived Lookup Tables created in the account.

When you open one of the above lists, you will see the following:

    • Lookup Table columns – These are the columns available within each list, which include:
      • Table Name
      • Status
      • Last Modified
      • User (made the las modification)
    • + Create Table button – This button is located in the upper-right corner of the section and allows users with full access to this page to create a new Lookup Table. Learn more about this process here.
