This feature explains how to view and manage Location Attributes.

    Configuration

When System Attributes is enabled in the More section of Client Setup, Standard Location Attributes will automatically be added/enabled on the account while Custom Location Attributes will need to be added at the account level.

    Standard Location Attributes

Standard Location Attributes are fields from Location Management that can be used as tokens in the system. These attributes include the following:

    Attribute Name

    Attribute Key

    Attribute Description

    Address address Location address
    Address 2 address_2 Location address line 2
    City city Location address city
    Country country Location country
Location Email location_email Location email in Location Management
Location ID location_id Location ID in Location Management
Location Name location_name Location name in Location Management
Location Phone location_phone Location phone in Location Management
    Province province Location province
    State state Location address state
Time Zone time_zone Location time zone in Location Management
Zip Code zipcode Location address zip code

    Custom Location Attributes

Custom Location Attributes are unique attributes that can be added to a location in Location Management after being created by your CS Representative. Once added to a location, you can then assign values to the attribute on the location record.

    • Example: You can add an attribute for “Parking Instructions” called “#parking-instructions” and add the value for each location's instructions. This can then be used in interview communications if needed.

Attribute Key Names cannot contain spaces. This will cause an error when pulling in that information.

Adding values to created Custom Location Attributes

In Location Management, you can add values for your created attributes. To add a value, complete the steps below.

    1. Open the preferred location record.
    2. Scroll down to the Location Attributes section.

    3. Identify the attribute you would like to edit and click on the pencil icon to add a value.
    4. The attribute details will open in a slide-out drawer where you can make the necessary edits.
    5. Click Save.

Attribute tokens can then be used in the following system ares:

    • Workflows
    • Conversation Builder & Outcomes
    • Interview Communications and Interview Prep
    • Message Customization
    • Job Builder and Job Templates
    • CMS
    • Suggestions
    • WhatsApp Templates
    • Offer Builder

    The structure of the location attributes should follow this structure:  #la-{attribute_key}

    • Example: #la-parking_instructions
