If you utilize Conversational ATS, then job templates will be available for your team to create and manage. Once created, these templates can be used by your team to more efficiently and accurately create repetitive, similar jobs in the system.

    Use cases

    • Hiring teams who want to templatize similar job postings to make the job creation process more efficient.

    Configuration

Job Templates will automatically be included in a Conversational ATS account and include the capability to leave certain fields of the job template, such as job locations, Candidate Journey details, and the hiring team, empty so that they can be decided in Job Builder rather than on the job template.

If you would like to disable the use of empty fields in a job template, then a user with full access to Client Setup can complete the below steps.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
    3. Client Setup will then open. From the left panel, scroll down to and open the Job Management section.
    4. Under the Paradox Jobs subsection, find the Allow templates to be saved without required data toggle. Disable this toggle to ensure the desired experience takes place:
      • If enabled, the Locations, Candidate Journey details, and the Hiring Team will be listed as optional in the template and will not require configuration in order to publish the job template.
        • Note: If enabled, screening questions can be hidden upon saving the template.
      • If disabled, then the Locations, Candidate Journey details, and the Hiring Team  fields will remain required to publish the job template.
    5. Save the page.

    Create a job template

    1. Click the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then the Settings app from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Job Manager under the Jobs section.
    3. From the left panel, select Templates.
    4. In the upper-right corner of the Templates list, select + Create.
    5. Select either Multi-Location or Standard as the job type.
    6. Follow the steps outlined here for each relevant job template section.
      • Note: Job Categories are assigned in the Overview step of the Job Builder instead of before entering the Job Builder.

Job Templates will have all of the same data fields as a job excluding Available Locations. If enabled on the backend, then the locations, Candidate Journey details, and the hiring team selections will not be required within a template to publish it.

    Templates list actions

From the Templates list, you can complete the following actions from a template's action menu, or ellipses, which can be found by hovering over a template row:

    • Edit – This will open the Job Template Builder, where you can adjust your template.
    • Duplicate – This will create a copy of the job template.
    • Delete – This will delete the job template.

    Permissions

By default, Paradox Admins, Company/Account Admins, and Franchise Owners will have full access to job templates. However, users can gain access to this feature with the Job Templates permission (under the Job Manager parent permission) in Roles and Permissions.
