Job alert sign-ups will not be supported on SMS.
When a candidate searches for a job, they will have the option to sign up for a job alert in relation to it. The job alerts setting will display whether results are returned or not.
Initial sign-up
Once a candidate searches for a job via web widget and no jobs are found, then a Notify me of similar job openings toggle will display. Toggling this on will enable job alerts for positions that match their search criteria. Your AI Assistant will then proceed to ask the candidate the following questions:
- Name
- Phone number
- Communication preference
- Frequency preference (daily or weekly)
-
Note: Candidates can update their selected frequency from the Manage Preferences page. Below are the times when job alerts will send:
- Daily – 8 am PST daily.
-
Weekly – 8 am PST on the day of the first match and every week after that on the same day.
- For example, if a candidate sign ups for a weekly cadence and the first match occurs on a Monday, then the candidate would receive job alerts on every Monday moving forward.
-
Note: Candidates can update their selected frequency from the Manage Preferences page. Below are the times when job alerts will send:
Once the candidate answers these questions, a milestone will display in their conversation, noting that the candidate subscribed to a job alert for their original search criteria.
Additional sign-ups
If a candidate searches for additional positions and once more no jobs are found, then the candidate will continue to see the Notify me of similar job openings setting display for each new search. In enabling this toggle, your AI Assistant will skip the general information question and only send a confirmation message notifying them that a job alert was set up based on their search. The job alert milestone will then display in their conversation.
Single vs. multiple results found
Regardless of whether one or multiple results are returned for the same search terms, only one Notify me of similar job openings toggle will display. Toggling this on will initiate the processes outlined above and will be applied to whatever prompted the result(s).
If a candidate does not toggle on this setting, then they will not proceed on with job alerts and can continue their conversation as expected.
Experience grid
Returned jobs
If Experience Management/Dynamic Content is enabled for your account, then any returned jobs will be displayed in the top left corner of the Experience Overlay.
If View More in the top right corner of the returned job’s list is clicked or a job description is opened, the Experience Overlay will detail out the description, the option to Apply Now, a list of all jobs if more than one job was returned, and the Notify me of similar job openings setting, which the candidate can enable.
No jobs returned
If no jobs are returned with the Experience Overlay, then the Notify me of similar job openings toggle will display within the conversation rather than in the overlay.
