Job alerts overview

By simply enabling a setting on the backend, you can offer candidates the option to subscribe to job alerts so that they can receive automated notifications about new job opportunities that come up and match their previous search criteria. The frequency and number of alerts are set by the candidate, giving them more control over the jobs they are notified about.
Important Notes:
- This should be tested on your Staging account before applying it to your Production account.
- Job Alerts are available to all candidates, regardless of location (US-based and non-US candidates).
- Job alerts cannot be targeted at a widget level or used in Campaign Job Search.

Use cases
- Candidates who want to sign up for job alerts so that they can receive relevant jobs based on their set parameters.
- Recruiters who want to allow candidates to sign up for job alerts so that any candidate that comes to their Career Site will find what they need without leaving empty-handed.
- Candidates who want to modify their job alerts in case my search criteria or need changes.
Configuration
Contact your CS Representative and request to have Job Alerts enabled.
Job alert tracking
Candidates who click on a link from the job alert email should be passed through the ParadoxJobAlerts UTM parameter.
Additional logic
Additional logic around this feature is as follows:
- Job alerts will only be handled for pre-apply candidates in this version.
- Job alerts via Campaign Job Search are not supported in this version.
- Job alert candidates will not be displayed in Drop-Off or Conversation Detail reports.
- Job alert sign-up will not be supported on SMS.

Permissions
This is an automated feature that only impact candidates. Once this feature is enabled by your CS Representative, there are no additional permissions around this feature.
FAQs
When exactly do these reminders go out?
It depends on the candidate's selection. Options include:
- Daily – 8 am PST daily.

Weekly – 8 am PST on the day of the first match and every week after that on the same day.
- For example, if a candidate sign ups for a weekly cadence and the first match occurs on a Monday, the candidate would receive job alerts on every Monday moving forward.
Can job alerts be updated to be sent more/less regularly?
