When a custom section is added to an offer letter and if any conditions are set for that section that the candidate meets, then the custom section will display in a candidate's offer. This guide reviews a user's process in completing this section of an offer letter.

    Employee experience

If a custom section is included in a candidate's offer letter, then it will display in the left panel of the offer letter's slide-out drawer under the name of the section group's name. Users can then complete the below steps.

    1. Click into the section group's selector to view a list of all available custom sections for this candidate in alphabetical order.
      • Note: If a section group was marked as Optional, then None will be included in this selector. Any custom sections marked as Hide From Selection will not display.
    2. Select the preferred custom section.
    3. When a selection other than None is made, the content of the selection will display in green text within the offer. Any components listed within that custom section will display in orange text and added to the left panel for you to update.
    4. Send the offer.

Auto-populate for the same attribute and validation. If a component within a custom section shares the same attribute and the same validation as a component in the main portion of the offer letter, then when first field is updated, the other will automatically be filled with the same value. However, if a secondary field was updated based on the first entry, then the second attribute can be updated without it auto-updating the value added to the first attribute.
