Use cases Configuration Step #1: Create an offer Step #2: Select the offer on the job Step #3: Update the workflow (for automatically sending offers) Step #4: Configure manual "Send Offer" in Candidate Journeys

Follow the below outline configuration steps in order to pause automatic offer letter delivery for verbal offers.

    • Note: Offers and Offer Approvals (Approvals Engine) must be enabled for your account. This configuration applies only to offers using Offer Approvals.

    Use cases

    • Support your hiring process: Give recruiters the flexibility to have a verbal conversation with a candidate before sending the formal offer letter.
    • Control candidate communications: Decide when an approved offer letter reaches the candidate, creating a more intentional offer experience.

    Configuration

    Step #1: Create an offer

An offer must first be built and published from the Offers page. Click here to learn more.

Step #2: Select the offer on the job

All jobs that will utilize the offers you created will need to have the correct Candidate Journey added and the corresponding offer letter selected from the Candidate Journey section of the Job builder.

Step #3: Update the workflow (for automatically sending offers)

If you are wanting to pause offers from automatically sending immediately upon approval, then users with full access to Workflows will need to update your workflows to finalize this automation.

    1. Select the All Apps button and then the Settings app from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Workflows under the Automation section.
    3. Open the first workflow that should include the send offer automation.
    4. Create a new task.
    5. Enter the task name.
    6. Click + Add Trigger and then Candidate Status Updated.
    7. Select the Offer Approval Approved status that should trigger the offer's approval to send.
    8. To prevent Paradox from automatically sending the offer upon approval, do one of the following in the selector:
      • Change the status: Select a different status directly from the status field other than Send Offer.
      • Remove the step: Select the action menu, or ellipses, then select Delete.
    9. Save and then publish the workflow.
    10. Repeat these steps for all workflows that need the automation configured.

Step #4: Configure manual "Send Offer" in Candidate Journeys

To allow users to manually send the offer letter when automatic offer delivery is paused from the Candidate Inbox:

    1. Select the All Apps button and then the Settings app from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Journeys under the Automation section.
    3. Open the desired candidate journey.
    4. Using the left pane, navigate to the stage with the Offer Approval Approved status.
    5. Select the Offer Approval Approved status.
    6. Under the Configuration tab in Next Steps, select + Add Next Step Button.
    7. Customize the button title as needed.
    8. Select + Select Status, and then select Send Offer.
    9. In the lower-right corner, select Save.
    10. In the upper-right corner, select Save Changes.
