Option #1: Set catch-all conversation to Talent Community Option #2: Target Talent Communities with targeting rules

You can easily target certain Talent Communities via widget conversations so that candidates are directly routed to a specific community without being asked which community they want to join.

Option #1: Set catch-all conversation to Talent Community

    1. Navigate to Web Management.
    2. Create a new or open an existing widget conversation.
    3. In the Catch-all Conversation section, select Talent Community as the option for How would you like to start the interaction?.
    4. Select the preferred Talent Community from the Which talent communities will you use? selector. By default, All Talent Communities will be selected.

    5. Select your desired public or private communities.
    6. Click Apply to apply the changes.
    7. Click Save & Finish to create/update the widget.

Once specific Talent Communities are selected: The Community of Interest question will be skipped in the candidate’s Talent Community conversation.

Option #2: Target Talent Communities with targeting rules

You can also target a specific community via targeting rules within a widget conversation. To do this, complete the steps below.

    1. Navigate to Web Management.
    2. Create or open the preferred widget conversation.
    3. Scroll down to the Conversation Targeting section.
    4. Enter the targeting rule name in the open field and then click + Add.

    5. When the Edit Targeting Rule modal opens, select Talent Community as the option for the How would you like to start the interaction? setting.
    6. A new Which talent communities will you use? selector will then display. Select the public or private Talent Communities that you want to include for this targeting rule.

    7. Click Apply.
    8. Click the + Add Condition button.
    9. Enter the Page URL condition for this targeting rule.

    10. Click Save in the bottom right corner of the modal.
    11. Click Save and Finish in the bottom right corner of the drawer to mark this widget as active and available for candidates to use.
