The Candidate Management page provides users a list view of all of the candidates they manage. From this page, you can view and add candidates as well as take action on candidate interviews.

    Use cases

    • Users who want to take mass action on more than one candidate at one time.
    • Users who want to view all candidates in a list view while also being able to filter and create segments.

    Configuration

If you have full access to Client Setup, then complete the steps below.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
    3. Client Setup will then open. Scroll down to and open the More section from the left panel.
    4. Toggle on Candidate Management.
    5. Save the page.

    Candidate Management page

The Candidate Management page allows you to view all of your candidates in one place.

    Navigation

Select the All Apps button and then the Candidate Management app in its drop-down menu.

    Page sections

The candidate counter should display the accurate number of candidates. Any large numbers that are abbreviated will display its actual number when you hover over it.

The Candidate Management page will have two sections: the left panel with default segments and the selected list view, which provides all candidate information that corresponds to the selected segment.

    Available actions

You can make the following actions from within the page’s sections.

    Left panel actions

From the left panel, you can complete the following actions:

    • Filtering and Segmentation – From the filter icon in the left panel’s header, you can further sort your candidates. Learn more about filters in the filtering and segmentation article.
    • Segment Options – From the segment’s action menu, or ellipses, you may have one or more of the following options:
      • Set as Home – This will set the segment as your landing page view.
      • Delete – This will delete the segment from this page.
      • Segment Settings – This will allow you to rename the segment and who has access to it.
      • Layout Settings – This will allow you to adjust the order of segments in the left panel.

    List actions

From the upper-right corner above the list, you can complete the following available actions:

    1. + Add candidates – This button lives in the upper-most corner of the section and, when clicked, will open a slide-out drawer where you can enter in the details of this candidate.
    2. Select timeframe – This timeframe, which lives to the left of the search bar, will load the candidates in the Candidates Inbox based on the set time frame. This feature is recommended if you have over 1000 candidates, as it aids in better system performance.
    3. Search bar – This open text box will search the list for the characters entered.
    4. Refresh – This will display as an arrow icon in the shape of a circle and, when clicked, will refresh the list.
    5. Table settings – This will display as a table icon and, when clicked, allows you to customize the way the current list displays in the table.

    Mass actions

Select multiple candidates to see the following action available:

    • Cancel Interviews – Selecting this button will cancel the interviews of the selected candidates.

    Edit table settings

You can customize your table settings when you're viewing all of your candidates, allowing you to have more control of relevant candidate information. To customize the table settings in the Candidates tab, follow the steps below:

    1. From the left panel, open the All Candidates tab.
    2. In the upper-right corner, select the table icon.
    3. In the drawer that opens, select the For You or For All tab to customize the respective table settings.
      • For You – When you customize the table settings For You, the table customizations will only apply to your specific view.
      • For All – When you customize the table settings For All, the table customizations will apply to all users. All customizations made for all users will override any user-specific customizations.
    4. Customize the ordering of the columns for your table by doing the following:
      • Rearrange the columns into your desired layout by dragging and dropping them in the preferred order.
      • Hide a field that you do not want to display by selecting the eye icon next to the column’s name. Once you do this, the eye icon turns grey and has a slash through it to indicate the column is hidden from the table.
    5. Create a new field by selecting Create a New Field, where you can enter a Field Name and select a System Attribute.
    6. After customizing your table to your preferences, select the Save button in the lower-right corner.

    Multi-application indicator

Candidates who have multiple applications will have a multi-app indicator next to their name, which will look like a piece of paper with a number inside of it. This indicator will list the number of applications they have and, when clicking this indicator, will expand the list to include all individual applications.
