You can manually check-in candidates to an orientation event from the candidate Roster.
Candidates who are checked in to a session of a recurring event that is later updated, then their check-in status will be deleted.
Check in candidates for their orientation
To check-in candidates for orientation, follow the steps below.
- Click the Check-in Candidates button within the Candidate card in the event's Dashboard section.

- A slide-out drawer will open where all scheduled candidates will be listed per day. Click the Check-in button next to the preferred candidate(s) to check them in.
- Note: The white Check-in button means the candidate is not checked in. The blue checkmark button means the candidate is checked in.
Multi-day orientation event

If an orientation event is multiple days long, you can check in candidates on a per-day basis. Every day that the orientation event is scheduled, a new Day tab will display in the header.
As candidates are checked in for the event, the attendance progress bar will be updated. The attendance progress bar will be displayed per day.
Candidate Roster
To view the candidate roster for orientation, click Roster in the left panel. This list will display all candidates scheduled for that specific orientation in alphabetical order. The standard columns that all candidate Rosters should have include:
- Name – This is the candidate's full name.
- Group Name – This is the candidate’s assigned group.
- Location –This is the candidate’s assigned location.
- Attendance – A blue check will appear if the candidate was checked-in for that specific day and a white check should display if the candidate is not checked in for a specific day.

Status – This is the candidate’s Candidate Journey status.
- Note: If the client is not using Candidate Journeys, this column will display – as an empty state.
- Last Active – This is the last time the candidate engaged with your AI Assistant.
