Campus activities can be used in the event planning process as supplemental reminders and tasks that need to be completed in association with an event. These activities may or may not include candidate engagements, but ultimately allow your recruiting teams to plan your campus initiative strategy for the fiscal year.

    Navigation

You can create a campus activity from the Events page. Navigate to the Events page by first clicking the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then the Events app from its drop-down menu.

    Create a campus activity

Follow the steps below to create a campus activity.

    1. From the Events page, click the + Create New Event button in the top right corner.

    2. Select Campus Activity from the Choose Your Event Type modal and then select Create Activity.

    Activity Details section

    1. Name the activity and select the school associated with this activity.
    2. Select the start and end dates and times for when this activity will take place.
      • Note: This will default to the current date and relevant time.
    3. Select the correct time zone of the activity.
    4. Click Next in the top right corner of the page.

    My Activity Team section

    1. By default, the activity’s creator will be included as a part of the Activity Team. In the Add Event Team Members field, search for and select the other team members who will participate in this activity.

    2. When all team members are added, click the Next button in the top right corner of the page.

    Activity Planning section

    1. Under Event Budget and Expenses, click + Add Item and add in each line item that will need to be purchased or that will need to be included in the budget. Include the approximate planned cost value under the Planned column.
      • Note: The default currency is USD.

    2. Set the Anticipated Date for when this activity will take place.
      • Note: This will reflect the date range set in the Activity Details section.
    3. Enter in the success criteria for the activity, if relevant. This includes the goal for engagements and/or scheduled interviews.

    4. Click Create Event in the top right corner of the page to finalize your activity.

The new campus activity will then be added to the Events page and include an Activity tag for easy reference. You can click into this card to view its details.

    Campus activity dashboard

Clicking into a Campus Activity card will open the activity's Dashboard, which includes the following details:

    1. Activity Budget & Expenses – This will list out all of the budgeting line items and their planned costs for the event. You can click Finalize Expenses to enter in the actual costs of each budgeted line item and submit the budget.
      • Note: Costs cannot be updated once the budget is finalized.
    2. Activity Action Plan – This lists the success criteria set for the activity.
    3. Dates & Times – This widget lists the dates and times in which this activity will take place.
    4. Dashboard Settings – When clicked, this opens a drop-down menu with the following actions:
      • Edit Activity – This will open the campus activity in a drawer where you can make any necessary changes.
      • Duplicate Event – This will make a copy of the activity so that you can edit and make changes based on the existing activity’s details.
      • Delete Activity – This will confirm the removal and then delete the activity from the Events page.
        • Note: These same actions can be completed from the Events page by clicking the campus activity’s action menu, or ellipses.

    5. Dashboard – This tab is the landing page of the campus activity Dashboard and includes the key details of the event.
    6. Team – This tab includes a list of all team members added to the campus activity.
    7. Reporting – This tab includes the most relevant reports that you can use to analyze data points around the campus Aactivity.

    Permissions

The user’s permissions to the Events product will reflect the access they have in creating, managing, and viewing campus activities.
