    Enable auto-scheduling via API

Auto-scheduling via API allows your AI Assistant to auto-schedule interviews without a user ever needing to log into the CEM. It’s highly beneficial for organizations that want to trigger Paradox scheduling from their own integrated ATS or sourcing tools while maintaining a seamless candidate experience. This reduces the time to schedule, as candidates are booked the moment they qualify and the back-and-forth experience of finding times is elimated.

    Important Notes:

    • The Send Interview Alerts API endpoint will include the “note” field, allowing internal notes to be added for users to see when scheduling an interview.
    • HiredScore does not use Paradox's APIs currently.

If your team wants to connect your AI Assistant to your third-party system for scheduling, then you can use the PUT Send Interview Alert API to send the interview information to your assistant, which will cause them to schedule the interview with a candidate. You should provide a few pieces of information to have this be carried out. The critical information is:

    • OID – This is the candidate's ID in the CEM, which helps your AI Assistant associate the correct person to invite to an interview.
    • interview_type – There are nine potential interview types that can be sent.
    • interview_team – The interview attendees. If using Round Robin Groups, then primary interview team members (highest priority) will be listed in this parameter.
    • alternate_interview_team – If using Round Robin Groups, this will be the secondary interview team members scheduled for the interview, or those with a priority level other than Highest.
    • is_optional_interview_team – This field will list the optional attendees of a single interview.
    • interview_segments – This field will list the optional attendees of a sequential interview.
    • attendee_count – If using Round Robin Groups, this will list the number of attendees selected from the Round Robin Group.
    • interview_duration – This will set the length of the interview.
    • interviewer_id – The interviewer’s ID number.
    • action – This is the action of the interview.
    • interviewer_emails – This is where the assistant will check the OIT from and multiple interviewers can be added.

There is not an established limit for calendars that your AI Assistant can read. The assistant will choose the interviewer with the least number of interviews scheduled if there are multiple interviewers with the same availability. This is the same logic as our Round Robin groups.
