The Authentications section of the Integration Center allows you to see and edit all Authentications in the current company. Authentications are used in tandem with Authentication Requests to supply Outbound Requests with a more secure type of authentication than Basic Auth. 

Authentications will automatically update themselves when they are going to expire, meaning we can easily use OAuth. Since the token expires, our credentials to gain access are constantly changing, making it more secure.

Create an Authentication

To create an Authentication,

1. Open the Authentications section of the Integration Center.
2. Click the + Create New Authentication button.
3. A slide-out drawer will then open. Enter a Name and Description, if preferred, for the Authentication.
4. Enter a Key and Value for each required payload calling request for authentication. This often contains username and password information, among others. However, these are not required to enter.
5. Select an Authentication Request that will be used to retrieve its tokens. 
   • Note: These will often fire in the order they are listed here.
6. Click Save.

Edit an Authentication

You can edit an Authentication by either clicking the preferred value from the Authentications list or hovering over the preferred Authentication, clicking its ellipses icon, and then selecting Edit. A slide-out drawer will then open where you can edit, add, or delete details as well as update the Name and Description.

Import Authentications

You can import Authentications by clicking the Import icon button under the + Create New Authentication button, dragging and dropping or clicking and browsing for the preferred file, and then clicking Import.

Export Authentications

You can easily export Authentications in bulk by clicking the Export All icon button under the + Create New Authentication button above the list. You can also export individual Authentications by hovering over the preferred Authentication, clicking its ellipses icon, and then selecting Export.

Remove Authentications

From the row's ellipses, you can select Remove to delete an Authentication.
