Requires: Paradox Assist
Configuration
You will need access to both Paradox Assist and the Interviews page. Basic and Limited Users do not have access to the Interviews page. Contact a Company/Account Admin or your CS Representative to determine if these settings are enabled for your account.
View your interviews
To view your interviews using Paradox Assist:
- From any page in the platform, open the Assist widget from the bottom right corner of your page.
- Send a message to your AI Assistant describing the interviews you want to see.
Your AI Assistant retrieves and displays the matching interviews based on your interview viewing permissions.
-
Status and timeframe requests: Your AI Assistant maps your request to the appropriate interview statuses automatically. Some examples of what you can ask:
- "Show me interviews" (returns all)
- "What interviews are coming up?" (returns scheduled interviews)
- "What interviews already happened?" (returns completed and canceled interviews)
- "What interviews are we waiting on?" (returns pending and no availability)
- “Show me canceled interviews”
- "Any interviews that need my attention?" (returns no availability and expired requests)
- "Show me my interviews" (returns only interviews where you are the assigned interviewer)
- “Show me [candidate name]'s interviews”
- “Interviews for the [job name] role”
- No results found: If no interviews match your request based on your current permissions, your AI Assistant will let you know and suggest how to refine your search.
Results display as interview cards within the Assist conversation. Each card shows the candidate's name, interview status, type, duration, and location.
Your AI Assistant also displays the matching interviews along with the actions available to you based on your user permissions. From there, you can use:
- Candidate name filter: Enter a candidate's name to narrow results to their interviews. If multiple candidates share a name, your AI Assistant returns interviews for all matching candidates.
- Job name filter: Enter a job name to filter interviews to a specific role. If multiple jobs match, your assistant returns interviews for all matching jobs.
- Interview type filter: Enter the type of interview you want to see (for example, phone, in-person) to filter the list.
Paradox Assist currently does not have the ability to retrieve/display recorded interviews.
While your AI Assistant searches, a Searching for interviews indicator displays in the conversation.
You can expand it to see the steps your assistant is taking in real time, including what it's retrieving and how many results it found, before the final results display.
Cancel or reschedule an interview
In addition to viewing interviews, you can also cancel or reschedule any interview directly from the same Assist conversation.
In the conversation, type your request to cancel or reschedule a specific interview. For example:
- "Cancel [candidate name]'s interview."
- "Reschedule [candidate name]'s interview."
Your AI Assistant confirms the action with you before executing it.
Permissions
Your AI Assistant will only display the interviews that you have access to in the platform. Your assistant checks user permissions on the following levels before determining access:
- Roles and Permissions
- Interview Page (Basic and Limited Users do not have access to this page)
FAQs
Why am I not seeing any interviews when I ask Assist?
Your account may not have Paradox Assist enabled, your role may not have access to the Interviews page, or no interviews exist that match your request and permissions. Contact your Company or Account Admin to confirm your configuration.

Assist can retrieve interviews in any of the following statuses: Scheduled, Complete, Canceled, Request Pending, Request Expired, Request Canceled, and No Availability.
