Company-wide busy days

All company blackout dates, or days when no interviews will be conducted, can be configured for your account and on a per country basis. This will apply those blackout dates, which include holidays or dates when your company is closed, to all users' calendars.
Set company-wide busy days
Users will need full access to Client Setup to set company-wide busy days. If you have this access, then you can complete the steps below.
- Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
- Client Setup will then open. From the left panel, scroll down to and open the Scheduling section.
- Toggle on Manage Company-wide Busy Days to allow for the configuration of blackout dates, or days when no interviews will be conducted.
- Configure these days for all or individual countries by following the steps below:

All countries – To configure busy days for all countries, simply click into the All countries selector, select all of your company's busy days, and then select Done in the bottom right corner of the calendar dropdown.
- Note: For a faster selection of holidays, you can select the Add Standard Holiday Calendars option above the calendar, select the necessary country's holiday calendar, and then select Done.

Individual countries – To configure busy days for individual countries,
- Click + Add Country.
- Select the preferred country from the country selector.
- Select the days that should be marked as Busy Days.
- Note: For a faster selection of holidays, you can select the Add Standard Holiday Calendars option above the calendar, select the necessary country's holiday calendar, and then select Done.
- Repeat this process for every country you want to set busy days for.

All countries – To configure busy days for all countries, simply click into the All countries selector, select all of your company's busy days, and then select Done in the bottom right corner of the calendar dropdown.
- Select Save in the bottom right corner of this section.
Users can also add their own busy days from their My Calendar settings. The busy days configured on the individual location/employee calendar will always take precedence over the company-wide configurations.
Busy days prioritization
When setting busy days on an account, the following prioritization will take place in scheduling:
- Busy days set on the user or location calendar
- Busy days set for individual countries
- Busy days set for all countries
Impact on events
- When you are not utilizing the company-wide busy days setting, users can create events on any day, as there will be no restrictions on when a recurring or single event can be created.
- When you are utilizing the company-wide busy days setting and dates are selected, then users cannot select the any of the date(s) marked as busy days on the backend.
- Users can create recurring events, but any event that lands on a date marked as a busy day will not be created.
