Browse pages Switch languages Toolbar actions Preview Undo and redo Zoom out and in Hand tool

The Visual Editor gives you options for browsing pages, switching languages, and adjusting your view of the canvas. These options are available in the left panel or the upper-right toolbar.

    Browse pages

The left panel lists all of the pages in your career site, organized folder by folder. You can select the desired folder and then select the page's name to load it in the canvas to edit. Folders can also be expanded or collapsed to help you find the page you need.

You must save any edits on the current page before navigating to another page. If you navigate away with unsaved changes, select Cancel to return and save, or Discard Changes to leave without saving.

    Switch languages

If your career site is configured for multiple languages, a language selector appears at the top of the left panel.

    To switch languages:

    1. Select the language dropdown below the site name.
    2. Select the language you want to edit in the Visual Editor.

The canvas then reloads to show the selected page in that language.

You can save and publish language-specific edits the same way you would for the default language of your career site.

To edit content per language on your career site, elements must be configured for translation by your career sites developer. If a text element looks the same in all languages, it may not be set up for translation.

Contact your CS Representative for more information.

    Toolbar actions

Using the upper-right toolbar, you can complete actions to help you navigate the Visual Editor canvas.

    Preview

You can review your changes before publishing by selecting Preview. You can learn more about the preview functionality here.

    Undo and redo

You can select the undo and redo icons to reverse or reapply changes within your current editing session.

    • Undo: Select the undo icon to reverse your last action. The keyboard shortcut is Command + Z for Mac or Ctrl + Z for Windows.
    • Redo: Select the redo icon to reapply an action you just undid. The keyboard shortcut is Command + Y for Mac or Ctrl + Y for Windows.

You can undo multiple changes in sequence. The redo resets when you navigate to a new page.

    Zoom out and in

You can use the zoom controls to get a close look at specific sections of the page or to see the full layout at a glance.

    To use the zoom controls:

    1. In the upper-right toolbar, select - or + to zoom out or zoom in.
    2. In the upper-right toolbar, select the zoom percentage, where you can either:
      • Enter a specific value between 10% (fully zoomed out) to 500% (fully zoomed in).
      • Select between the following options:
        • Zoom In
        • Zoom Out
        • Zoom to 50%
        • Zoom to 100%
        • Zoom to Fit

    Hand tool

You can use the hand tool to reposition the canvas without accidentally selecting or editing any content element.

    To use the pan functionality:

    1. In the upper-right toolbar, select the hand icon.
    2. Select and drag to move the page to the position you need.
    3. To return to editing, select any other tool or element.
