    Configuration Navigation Permissions

Before opening the Visual Editor, a Paradox Admin or System Implementor must grant the Visual Editor permission in Roles & Permissions.

    Configuration

Only users with full access to Client Setup can enable Site Studio in your account. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance.

    To enable Site Studio:

    1. Select the All Apps menu in the upper-left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
    3. Client Setup will then open. Scroll down to and open the Site Studio section from the left panel.
    4. Enable Site Studio.
    5. In the lower-right corner, select Save.

    Navigation

Navigate to the Site Studio by first clicking the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Site Studio in its drop-down menu.

To navigate to the Visual Editor:

    1. In the All Sites list view, select the site you want to edit.
    2. Under Actions in the Visual Editor, select Edit Content.

    The Visual Editor then opens.

    Permissions

Work with a user who has full access to Roles and Permissions to determine which user roles should have access to enabled Site Studio features. By default, no user roles will have access to the Site Studio. Permissions for user roles will need to be adjusted as needed. These permissions include the following:

    • Site Studio: Access to all of the below features.
      • Code Editor: This provides users access to the Code Editor, where users can directly edit the code of a career site for structural page changes, new page creation, layout modifications, or custom component development.
      • Visual Editor: This provides users access to the Visual Editor, where users can edit content on the career site (such as text, images, and links). Click here to learn more.

It is not recommended to give any user role access to the Site Studio > Code Editor permission unless they are a trained, technical user.
