View and adjust shifts on a job Basic shifts Advanced shifts View and adjust shifts on offers Candidate experience

The Shifts feature helps you clearly define work schedules within your jobs, so candidates know exactly what to expect before they apply. This improves the candidate experience and helps ensure you're attracting the right talent for the right roles.

This feature is not available for Integrated ATS customers.

View and adjust shifts on a job

If you manage shift-based jobs, you can easily view the shifts configured for a job in My Jobs by hovering over the shifts pill to display a summary of all open shifts. When you are ready to enable the job from the job’s modal, you must select the specific shifts you want to be live on the job posting in the Shifts section.

When shifts have been updated to posted jobs, select Shift Updated to review updated shifts available and change selections as needed.

    Basic shifts

Basic shifts allow users to select the shifts for a job that will apply to all days that you're hiring for. The display for basic shifts simply show a listing of all shifts and what were selected for this job opening.

    Advanced shifts

Advanced shifts allow users to select the shifts for a job that will apply to the individual days of the week. The display for advanced shifts is a table that lists each shift option horizontally, all days of the week vertically, and the following indications where each row and column intersect:

    • Checkmarks for shifts that you are hiring for.
    • X icon for shifts that you are not hiring for/cannot be selected.
    • Empty boxes for shifts that can be added for the job in My Jobs.

View and adjust shifts on offers

Shifts may be added as a component to your offers.

    1. Move a candidate into the Send Offer status.
    2. When the offer opens and shifts are added to any jobs in your account, a Select Shifts button displays in the left panel of the offer. Select this.
    3. A slide-out drawer will open. Choose which shifts to offer to the candidate.
      • Notes:
        • Shifts that overlap with the candidate's selected availability are automatically pre-selected.
        • If a shift does not overlap with the job’s availability, the Shift Unavailable label displays.
        • If a shift does not overlap with the candidate’s availability, the Candidate Unavailable label displays. You can override this by enabling the Schedule Over Candidate Availability toggle, which allows you to manually select shifts that may conflict with the candidate’s selected availability.
    4. Select Confirm in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
    5. Complete the rest of the offer.
