Job Search: Search Paradox Jobs and job feeds
Table of Contents
Both Paradox jobs and jobs from an integrated ATS can be utilized in Job Search to allow your external job feed to be selected in a Paradox Jobs account.
Use cases
- Teams who have Paradox jobs enabled but also want to provide candidates the ability to search for their external jobs hosted outside of Paradox.
When Paradox Jobs and job feeds are both selected for an account, candidates can search for both types of jobs but cannot apply for external jobs inside of Paradox.
Configuration
Step #1: Enable Job Search settings
Users with full access to Client Setup will be able to complete the below steps.
- Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
- Client Setup will then open. From the left panel, scroll down to and open the Job Search section.
- In the Search Company field, select and apply any relevant job feeds that should be added alongside your jobs created in the CEM.
- Save the page.
Important Notes:
- Chat-to-Apply must be enabled for the search experience to work properly. However, no Chat-to-Apply targeting needs to be configured for your external jobs.
- Once enabled, this functionality will automatically be applied to custom job search conversations.
Step #2: Update preferred sites
- Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Web Management under the Platform section.
- Open the site or widget conversation you’d like to configure your job feeds for.
- In the slide out drawer that opens, turn on Job Search.
- Set the How would you like to start the interaction setting to Job Search.
- Note: This is the only way you can configure a site or widget to enable searches for both Paradox Jobs and integrated ATS jobs.
- Once enabled, the Select a Job Feed for this Widget selector will display with all pre-selected feeds from Client Setup by default. Remove one or more feeds to configure specific job feeds.
-
Notes:
- This setting is available for the following sites/conversations:
- Widget Conversations
- Company Site
- Landing Site
- Default Site
- Candidate Referral Site
- Recruiting Site
- This setting is available for the following sites/conversations:
-
Notes:
- Select Apply. This will allow all Paradox Jobs and select job feeds to be available when enabling either the Candidate Q&A or Job Search Start Conversation with option.
- Select Save & Finish in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
Step #3: Update preferred phone numbers
You can set the preferred feeds for the following phone number types:
- A.I. Phone Number
- SMS Short code Keywords
Users with full access to Channels and/or one of the available channel types will be able to complete the below steps.
- Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Channels under the Platform section.
- Open the preferred AI Phone Number or short code.
- From the Job Feed setting, choose the preferred job feed(s) and then select Apply.
- Select Save in the bottom right corner of the modal.
This will allow all Paradox Jobs and your selected job feeds to be available when enabling either the Candidate Q&A or Job Search Start Conversation with option.
Notable logic
- To allow for all jobs to be searchable, your Start interaction must be Candidate Care (Q&A) or Job Search. Apply will not work to pull in all jobs from the feeds selected.
- In order to account for both job sources, the Job Category question from the Job Posting page conversation will not be asked and all jobs will follow the standard search experience that is seen with external job search.
-
Conversation Experiences:
- Paradox Jobs – Candidates applying to Paradox Jobs will have an in-line conversation experience (i.e. they will not be redirected to the Paradox Apply URL to apply).
- Job Feed Jobs – Jobs from a feed can be configured with Chat-to-Apply to trigger a conversation for those requisitions.
- Once enabled, this functionality will automatically be applied to custom Job Search Conversations.
