This December 9th release includes the following enhancements. These updates are subject to change until the day of the release.

Happy December! 🎉 We've been working on updates to help your teams hire faster and smarter.

Here's the latest feature releases and improvements.

    Campaigns

    Community specific campaigns

You can now target a specific subset of Talent Communities when configuring your campaigns, no longer having to worry about accidentally adding candidates to the wrong community of interest (COI) during a campaign. This update significantly boosts the precision of your campaign targeting, preventing candidate mis-associations for a cleaner, more streamlined experience.

Learn more about this enhancement in talent community campaigns.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this impacts Company/Account Admins, Full User - Edit Everythings, and Power Users. This also impacts users who have Full Access to Campaigns and Talent Communities.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all clients using Campaigns and Talent Communities.

    Channels

Redesign of our Phone Numbers and Keywords pages

You can now manage all your communication channels (phone numbers and keywords) through a modernized, intuitive list view with enhanced search and sorting, no longer having to navigate a legacy interface when managing your outbound communication channels. This modernization effort aligns the interface with our platform's latest design standards, improving usability and ensuring better performance and maintainability for future channel enhancements.

All phone numbers related documentation has been updated to reflect this redesign.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this impacts users who have Full Access or View Access to Phone Numbers and Keywords.
    • Feature Activation: These pages are automatically redesigned, and no manual action is required.

    Conversation Builder

    Conversation-specific language filter

You can now restrict a specific conversation to only allow a subset of supported candidate languages, overriding your account's global settings and no longer needing to rely only on account-level settings to enforce a single language for legally sensitive conversations, such as applications. This provides critical, conversation-level flexibility, allowing you to easily enforce language compliance for specific use cases (like applications) where only a single language may be required.

Learn more about configuring this setting in custom conversations.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this impacts Company/Account Admins, Full User - Edit Everythings, and Power Users. This also impacts users who have Full Access to the Conversation Builder.
    • Feature Activation: The feature is disabled by default for all conversations, and the filter must be manually enabled for your conversations where language restriction is needed.

    Conversational Events

Customizable Event Landing Page and Candidate Schedule Page

You can now provide all scheduled candidates (including those for Private and Interview-Only Events) with independent, customized pre-registration and post-registration content using the Event Landing Page and Candidate Schedule Page, which are now required when building an event. This means you'll no longer have to manage inconsistent schedule presentations or struggle to share preparation documents for all scheduled event types. This new feature unifies the candidate experience for hiring and orientation events, resolving workflow conflicts and ensuring all candidates have universal access to essential preparation documents and their personalized schedule.

Learn more about creating an event landing page and the candidate schedule page.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this impacts Company/Account Admins, Recruiters, Supervisors, and Reporting Users. This also impacts users who have Full Access to the the event builder.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use, but the event builder now requires you to complete the Header Image and Event Description fields for the Event Landing Page and Candidate Schedule Page. These elements are required when building an event.

    Job Management

Filter by Journey stage within a status in Job Centric View

If you manage jobs and use Conversational ATS, you can leverage Journey Targeting for your jobs, no longer needing to create and manually manage multiple, nearly identical job postings just to implement small differences in the candidate journey (like different forms or offer letters) across locations. We've upgraded the old Applicant Flows to Journey Targeting and brought this powerful capability to all Paradox Jobs clients. This feature streamlines job creation, significantly reduces manual administrative work for your teams, and improves the scalability of your hiring platform by allowing you to centrally manage all journey variations.

New standard "Paradox Job Type" attribute

You can now target features and functionality based on a new standard attribute that differentiates between Standard, Multi-location, and Integrated Jobs, no longer having to use custom or inferred logic to identify a job's management type across the platform. This new attribute is a foundational step toward a unified job management system, providing a consistent way to configure features based on how a job is managed. The new attribute, paradox_job_type, automatically appears in all relevant targeting builders across the platform.

This core system update provides a single source of truth for the Job ID across the platform, which is critical for accurate targeting, reporting, and reliable external integrations.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this impacts Paradox Admins and Company/Account Admins. This also impacts users who have Full Access to Job Management or use Paradox Jobs..

    Job Search

Enhance logic for remote jobs in job search

You can now ensure all relevant remote jobs are displayed to a candidate, even if no on-site jobs are available in their inferred location. You'll no longer need to worry about candidates viewing a No Results Found message, even when remote jobs are an option. Journeys

    Automatic candidate journey reassignment

You can now be confident that when a job's assigned candidate journey changes, only new candidates are assigned to the updated journey, while in-progress candidates remain on the original. You'll no longer need to manually update in-progress candidates or worry about misrouting them when a job's journey configuration is modified. This update improves data consistency and automation, ensuring accurate reporting and preventing workflow errors, while continuing to apply general configuration updates to in-progress candidates. You'll view a confirmation modal in the Job Builder that clearly warns you about the impact of journey reassignment before publishing a change.

    Location Management

    Ability to deactivate locations

You can now deactivate locations instead of permanently hard deleting them, preserving all associated candidate data and history and no longer risking accidental data loss or data integrity issues when closing or retiring a location. This highly requested update retains all candidate associations for historical reporting and compliance while preventing new candidates from applying or being added to the deactivated location. Start using the new Deactivate feature in Location Management to maintain data integrity when closing your locations.

    Scheduling

    Microsoft 365 integration redesign

You can now manage your Office 365 integration entirely on your own from a single, centralized hub, no longer needing to rely on support tickets or a Paradox admin for initial setup, troubleshooting, or credential management.

We've completely redesigned the Office 365 (O365) integration experience into a streamlined, self-service wizard within Connected Apps. This new process drastically reduces the confusion from multiple sign-in options, simplifies maintenance, and enables enterprise clients to manage multiple O365 tenants within a single Paradox account. This gives you more flexibility and control over your calendar and scheduling features.

The new O365 integration experience is automatically available to users with the appropriate permissions to access the Integration Center and Connected Apps. This does not impact any of your integrations.

    Minor enhancements

    Account Migration
This enhancement prevents Contextual Q&A consent from being carried over during account migration, requiring the new account's Company Admin to approve the feature again to ensure legal and compliance risks are addressed.

    Career Site Builder
This enhancement removes unnecessary privacy settings—specifically Enable Global User Tracking, Enable Job Search Tracking, and Enable GDPR banner and cookie—from the Career Site Builder Privacy tab, and prevents GDPR-related cookies from being rendered on sites.

    Contextual AI
This enhancement applies Contextual AI to the Scheduling Site page, making it more consistent with other pages where contextual features have already been implemented.

    Content Management System (CMS)
This enhancement adds a search bar to the card view of Candidate Assistant Responses and Employee Assistant Responses within the CMS, allowing users to search responses in this view similarly to how it works in the table view.

    Employee Communications
This enhancement updates the time selection dropdown for scheduled communication deliveries to display the earliest available 15-minute interval based on the logged-in user's timezone, and restricts selection up to 11:45 PM to prevent accidentally scheduling for the next day.

    Integration Center
This enhancement consolidates Public API integration logs into the Integration Center under Audit Logs to ease troubleshooting for internal and external requests.

    Job Management
We've updated the logic for Standard Jobs to ensure that modifications made to the Hiring Team in My Jobs are instantly and automatically reflected in the Job Builder as well.

    Paradox Analytics and Reporting

This enhancement adds the Job Req ID field as an available column to the Admin Report titled Candidate Referring URL Details.

    Scheduling
This enhancement ensures that when a candidate attempts to reschedule an interview after the scheduled time has passed, they receive the configured message in Assistant Messaging for Scheduled Time Has Passed: Candidate Reschedule instead of a hardcoded message.

    Security

    • We've updated public-facing APIs related to user_id, lead_id, and candidate_id to use UUIDs to enhance security.
    • We’ve updated our security framework so privileged roles, like Paradox Admins, can no longer bypass user permissions when uploading forms in Hire Details in the candidate profile. To complete these tasks, Paradox Admins must now explicitly impersonate a user role that holds the required permissions, ensuring maximum security and compliance.

    Surveys
This enhancement improves SMS survey answer ranking by prioritizing numeric order (1, 2, 3...) first, then label text, and finally emoji recognition, to more accurately interpret user replies.

    Web Management
This enhancement ensures that when a catch-all conversation is disabled and a targeting rule is configured, the web widget will correctly return the intended conversation instead of an empty widget.
