Kiosk Mode efficiently allows event managers to capture candidate data without wifi and the reliance on a capture conversation. Kiosk Mode can only be utilized for campus events and along with event registration forms.

    Product dependencies

    Requires: Campus Events

Add a Kiosk Mode template to an event

    Important Notes:

    • You can only add an event form to an in-person campus event.
    • You do not need access to the Kiosk Mode Templates page in order to add a Kiosk Mode template to an event.

You can add a Kiosk Mode template to an event from the On-Site Registration section of the event’s Registration step. The event registration form will provide the questions that the candidate needs to answer while the Kiosk Mode template will provide the branding experience around those questions.

Click the Preview Kiosk Mode button to preview the candidate’s experience of viewing the event registration form within the selected Kiosk Mode template in a new browser window.

    • Note: The only active buttons within the preview experience are in the top header. All other buttons and fields within the preview experience are not actionable.

    Launch Kiosk Mode

From the Promotions tab of the event's Dashboard, a Kiosk Mode section will display at the top of the page. You can open Kiosk Mode on a company device or allow students to open Kiosk Mode on their individual devices from this section.

    Kiosk Mode on your device

From the Kiosk Mode card, click the Open Kiosk Mode button to open the Kiosk Mode experience in a new browser window.

Kiosk Mode on student’s personal device

By downloading an event’s QR code within the Kiosk Mode section, you can print it and then post it at your event so that students can scan the QR code and complete the event registration form on their personal devices.

    Kiosk Mode experience

This outlines the candidate’s experience utilizing Kiosk Mode.

The Kiosk Mode will open to a landing page that welcomes the student. They will need to click Register Now to register themselves.

    • Note: The language selector will be listed in the top right corner of the page to allow students to choose their preferred language. English will display as the default language for the form.

The event registration form selected for this event will then open where the student can enter in their information. They can click Submit in the bottom middle footer in order to register themselves.

A confetti screen will then open, thanking the student for registering for the event. A countdown of 5 seconds will display at the bottom of the page that, when zero is reached, will reload the initial landing page for the next student to complete the form.

    • Note: If a student accesses Kiosk Mode from their own device, the form will not reload. In addition to this, if a student is already registered for the event, then this final page will state that they are already registered.
