This October 13th release includes the following enhancements. These updates are subject to change until the day of the release.
Happy October! 🎉
If you're a hiring manager or recruiter, the following updates will have an impact on your system processes and experience. It is important to note that this may differ depending on your account features and individual system access.
Please contact your Company/Account Admin to receive supporting documentation around these updated processes.
Depending on your account configuration and user role permissions, these features and enhancements may not be visible or available to use.
Browser Extension
Clearer Browser Extension sign-in steps for SSO users

If you use the Paradox Browser Extension to schedule from your calendar or view candidate conversations and profiles, sign-in through your company login (SSO, Single-Sign On) now opens a loading page that tells you when you can return to the extension.
What this means for you:
- More reliable connections: The updated process makes you much less likely to lose a Browser Extension tab during sign-in.
- Wait for confirmation: Keep the loading page open until Paradox explicitly confirms your Browser Extension is connected.
- Avoid closing early: Closing the tab too soon can disrupt the Browser Extension login, even if your company login was already successful.
How to access: No setup is required. This enhancement is automatically available to use.
To access:
- Navigate to the Browser Extension.
- On the Login page, select Sign in with SSO.
- Follow the instructions on the guided loading page.
Conversational Events and Campus
Additional default registration closure options

If you build hiring, campus, or superday events, you now have more preset options when you set when registration closes (on-site registration and pre-event registration).
What this means for you:
- Faster setup: Select from a new list of preset times to close registration, saving you from entering custom dates manually.
- Flexible controls: Apply these quick-select dropdowns to both pre-event and on-site registration.
- No impact on existing events: Your previously published events remain exactly the same unless you choose to edit them.
How to access: No setup is required. This enhancement is automatically available to use.
To access:
- Follow the navigation and configuration instructions in the Create an event article.
- From the Registration section, navigate to the Close Pre-Event Registration section as needed.
- Using the At Set Time dropdown menu, select between the following options:
- Event End Date & Time
- 1 hour before the event
- 12 hours before the event
- 1 day before the event
- 2 days before the event
- 3 days before the event
- 4 days before the event
- 5 days before the event
- Set specific date and time
- From the Registration section, navigate to the Close On-Site Registration section as needed.
- Using the At Set Time dropdown menu, select between the following options:
- Event End Date & Time
- 1 hour after the event
- 12 hours after the event
- 1 day after the event
- 2 days after the event
- 3 days after the event
- 4 days after the event
- 5 days after the event
- Set specific date and time (custom selection)
- Ensure to save the event.
View Superday event schedules and confirm registration in fewer steps

If you run superday events, your candidates get a simpler and streamlined invitation and reschedule experience.
What this means for you:
- All-in-one view: Candidates now see event details, their full daily schedule, and the Confirm Registration button on a single, unified page.
- Higher completion rates: By removing extra steps, candidates face less friction and are more likely to finish registering after you invite them.
How to access: No setup is required. This enhancement is automatically available to use for candidates.
Job Management
Updates to Enhanced Job ID

Job IDs in My Jobs and on candidate records are changing to a shorter enhanced job ID format (for example, P1-10862-4).
What this means for you:
- New job ID format for jobs: New postings in My Jobs will use the updated job ID (depending on your account’s configuration and migration timeline, managed by your Company/Account Admin).
- Consistent tracking: Each candidate keeps the job ID from when they applied, even if the job is reposted or updated, so candidate records and reporting stay aligned with the original application.
- Easier sharing: The shorter ID makes it simpler to quickly reference candidate profiles with your team.
- Mixed reporting: Expect to see both old and new ID formats in reports during the transition.
How to access: No setup is required. This feature is automatically available to use.
The impact of this update is dependent on your account’s configuration and migration timeline, managed by your Company/Account Admin.
Contact your Company/Account Admin for additional information on this enhanced job ID format.
