You can easily create a recorded interview from the Recorded Interview Builder.
Create a recorded interview
Users with full access to the Olivia Recorded Interviews permission can complete the below steps.
- Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header.
- Select Settings from its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Recorded Interview Builder under the Scheduling section.
- When the Recorded Interviews page opens, select New Interview in the top right corner of the Recorded Interviews page.
Interview Details section
- Enter the name of the interview and an external ID, if relevant.
- (Optional) You have the option to add an opening message. To include media, such as images, gifs, or videos, from the CMS, click the + Add Media button and make your preferred selection.
- Within the Questions section, click the + Add Question button.
- Add the question’s name.
- Type the question you want to ask.
- Select the Response Type.
- Select the Length of response. The response type can be set to either:
- Video
- Audio Only
- Select Save.
- Add any number of necessary questions by repeating steps #5-12.
- The Closing section is the message that will be sent to the candidate after they complete their recorded interview. Media can also be added in this section from the CMS media library.
- Open the Permissions section.
Permissions section
- By default, all users will have viewing access to candidates' responses. Update access as needed:
- Remove viewing access by clicking the trash can icon next to the user role that should not have access.
- Provide specific users and/or user roles access to viewing responses by clicking the plus icon, selecting the preferred user(s) or user role(s), and then clicking Apply.
- Select Save in the the top right corner of the page.
- Select the Draft status and then Publish.
The recorded interview will then be ready to send to the candidate.
- When recorded interviews are published, they will be available to send to candidates.
- When recorded interviews are edited and published when a recorded interview is in-progress, then the candidate will receive the latest text after publishing for the questions that they have not answered yet.
