Add conditional tasks to a form Edit a conditional task

You have the ability to add a condition to any and each question within a section. Adding conditional tasks/questions allow for tailored candidate experiences when completing forms.

Add conditional tasks to a form

Users with full access to Forms will be able to complete the following steps.

    1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Forms from the Jobs section.
    3. Open the preferred form and then section.
    4. Scroll down to the task that should be assigned to the condition.
    5. Select the task's action menu, or ellipses, and then Add Condition.
    6. A drawer will open where you can configure the condition criteria. Start by setting the Targeting Rules. Options include:
      • Previous Question – Includes questions displayed earlier in the form than the question being configured. Only question types matching the following can be used for targeting rules:
        • Short Answer
        • Paragraph
        • Drop Down
        • Multi Select
        • Single Select
          • Note: If a question does not have a title, then it will display in the list as #question-name.
      • Job Attributes – Includes Job Attributes on the account that can be referenced as a targeting rule.
        • Note: If you have configured Live Job Attributes and/or Applied Job Attributes for the account, then you have the option of selecting between both of these job attribute sources.
      • Location Attributes – Includes Location Attributes on the account that can be referenced as a targeting rule.
        • Note: If configuring conditional visibility for forms, sections, or questions based on location ID, please ensure that the Candidate Location ID is populated. If this field is blank, then the form/section/question will not display to the candidate, resulting in required forms not appearing as expected.
    7. When a targeting rule is selected, the operators will display based on the targeting or question type selected in the operators. Select the preferred operator from the Screen For selector.
