Table of Contents
At any point, you can open and close jobs from the My Jobs page. Certain features, such as Candidate Volume Optimizer, can be set up on your jobs when you open them to automatically turn a job off for you or notify you when a set number of candidates reached a specific stage in the hiring process.
Open a job
If you utilize the Approvals Engine feature, then you will have to submit a request to enable a job first. Learn more about submitting a request here.
To post a job:
- Navigate to your My Jobs page.
- Find the job that you want to post.
- Click the toggle next to it.
- A modal will open where you can select the shifts available for the job as well as one or more of the following additional features:

Job Posting Type – This will display if users are able to edit this job’s Job Posting Type, which is set on the job. You will then have the option to update it to:
- External
- Internal
- Internal and External
- Job Title – This will display if your Admin users have set up multiple job titles for this job and will allow you to select the preferred title for this job's location(s). Click here to learn more.
- Number of Hires – This is the current number of candidates who have reached the predetermined Hired stage, if no Hired stage is included in the job's Candidate Journey. When the set value of candidates is met, then the job will either be automatically closed or the job's hiring manager will be notified. Click here to learn more.
- Hiring Goal (Candidate Volume Optimizer) – This is the current number of candidates who have reached the predetermined stage of the Candidate Journey. When the set value of candidates is met, then the job will either be automatically closed or the job's hiring manager will be notified. Click here to learn more.
- Hot Jobs – This allows you to mark a job as a high priority job that needs increased candidate exposure. Click here to learn more about Hot Jobs.

Additional Details – These are Job Data Package details that were added to the job and available to be edited in My Jobs.
- Note: Depending on permissions, an attribute may be marked as required or optional to enter when posting a job. If this value is optional and a list select attribute, then you can deselect options in the drop-down to leave the value as blank.

Job Posting Type – This will display if users are able to edit this job’s Job Posting Type, which is set on the job. You will then have the option to update it to:
- Click Post Job.
Close a job
To remove a job posting:
- Navigate to your My Jobs page.
- Find the job that you want to close.
- Click the toggle next to it.
- Click Close Job in the modal that opens.
- A confirmation modal will then display, notifying you of the change that will occur when you close this job. Click Turn Off Job to continue or Cancel to leave the job enabled.
