Create a job Go to job manager Permissions

You can create new jobs directly from My Jobs by using a published job template, as well as open a job in Job Builder.

This feature only applies to Standard Jobs and not Multi-Location Jobs.

    Create a job

    To create a job:

    1. Navigate to My Jobs.
    2. In the upper-right corner, select + Create New Job.
    3. Search for and select the desired job template, and then select Continue.
    4. Select a job category, and then select Continue.
    5. In the Job Locations tab, configure the following:
      • If Remote Jobs are enabled in the account, enable or disable Remote Position.
      • For the Preferred Location (the primary location for this job), select + Add Locations or Edit Locations and select the desired location.
      • For the Additional Locations (optional, secondary locations where the job may be offered), select + Add Locations or Edit Locations and select the desired locations. Ensure to select Apply.

Users can only add or remove locations for locations they have permission/access to.

    1. In the Job Posting Locations tab, search an address, city, state/province, or country that will be used for candidate job search and discovery only.
      • Note: This does not reflect the actual work location and candidates cannot be assigned to them. This configuration is optional.
    2. Select Continue.
    3. Review and update the Hiring Team for the job by configuring the following:
      • Select + Add Employee, select the desired employee(s). Ensure to select Apply.
        • Note: Required hiring team roles are marked with an asterisk (*).
      • Select the action menu, or ellipses, and select Remove to remove the employee.
    4. In the lower-right corner, select Create.

The job is then published and displays in My Jobs. You can enable or disable the job by selecting the toggle.

You cannot create a job from a blank template. Only templates with the following requirements can be selected:

    • Has a Job Title
    • Has a Brand
    • Has a Job Description
    • Has at least one Hiring Team role
    • Has a complete Candidate Journey, with at least one Screening Question

    Go to job manager

From My Jobs, you can open a job directly in the Job Builder if you have access to the Job Manager.

To open a job in the Job Builder:

    1. Select the action menu, or ellipses, to the right of the job.
    2. Select Go to Job Manager.

The Go to Job Manager option displays only for users with full access to the Job Manager > Jobs permission in Roles & Permissions.

    Permissions

By default, no user roles have access to create jobs in My Jobs. Contact your CS Representative to adjust the My Jobs > Create Job permission if user roles need access to create a job from My Jobs.
