This June 9th release includes the following enhancements. These updates are subject to change until the day of the release.

    Happy June! 🎉

If you're a hiring manager or recruiter, the following updates will have an impact on your system processes and experience. It is important to note that this may differ depending on your account features and individual system access.

Please contact your Company or Account Admin to receive supporting documentation around these updated processes.

    Paradox Assist

    View all interviews

You can now ask Paradox Assist to retrieve all interviews you have access to view across all interview statuses, not just the ones where you are listed as the assigned interviewer. Assist understands requests, so you can ask for upcoming interviews, past interviews, pending requests, canceled interviews, or anything that needs your attention. You can also ask by candidate name, job name, or interview type, and cancel or reschedule directly from the same conversation.

What this means for you: You no longer need to navigate to the Interviews page to get a full picture of scheduling activity. If you manage a busy interview pipeline or need to cover for a coworker, you can see every interview in one place and act on them immediately, without switching views.

    How to access:

    1. Open Paradox Assist.
    2. Type a request to view interviews. Some examples of what you can ask:
      • "Show me interviews" (returns all)
      • "What interviews are coming up?" (upcoming only)
      • "What interviews already happened?" (past only)
      • "What interviews are we waiting on?" (pending)
      • "Show me canceled interviews"
      • "Any interviews that need my attention?"
      • "Show me my interviews" (only interviews where you are the assigned interviewer)
      • “Show me [candidate name]'s interviews”
      • “Interviews for the [job name] role”
    3. To cancel or reschedule, type your request in the conversation (for example, "Cancel [candidate name]'s interview" or "Reschedule [candidate name]'s interview").

Watch a live video walkthrough from the product manager.

    Conversational Scheduling

    Default time format

Your Company/Account Admin can now set a default time format (12 hour or 24 hour) at the account level, which applies automatically to all newly created locations.

What this means for you: If your Company/Account Admin updates this setting, scheduling communications at newly created locations may now display time in 24-hour format (for example, 13:00 instead of 1:00 PM). Existing locations are not affected.

No action is required from you, but if you notice an unexpected time format in a scheduling message, ensure to contact your Company/Account Admin.

How to access: This setting is configured by your Company/Account Admin in Client Setup. Please contact your Company/Account Admin with any questions about the time format used in your scheduling communications.

Virtual dial-in phone number token and meeting ID support

Building on the #virtual-dial-in-number token used in scheduling communications for virtual interviews, the token now also includes the platform-specific meeting or conference ID.

This makes the dial-in link a true one-tap experience: you and candidates can dial in and automatically enter the required code in a single action on mobile, with no manual entry needed.

What this means for you: When you receive a virtual interview invitation, the join link already includes the access code. You no longer need to look up or manually enter a meeting ID to connect by phone, and the same applies for candidates you invite to virtual interviews.

How to access: This update applies automatically to all scheduling communications that already include the #virtual-dial-in-number token.

The meeting ID only appears in the link when the virtual meeting platform supports dial-in. Please contact your Company/Account Admin if you have questions about your virtual interview setup.

    My Jobs/Job Management

View posting locations for a job

You can now view all of the posting locations associated with a job directly from My Jobs. You can switch between Job Locations (where the job is made available to candidates) and Job Posting Locations (where the job is posted and advertised to candidates).

What this means for you: If you manage jobs posted across multiple locations, you can quickly confirm where a job is active and where candidates are seeing it, without extra navigation steps.

    How to access:

    1. In the upper-left corner, select All Apps, and then select My Jobs.
    2. Find the preferred job and select its location.
    3. In the slide-out drawer, navigate between Job Locations (where the job will be made available to candidates) and Job Posting Locations (where the job will be posted and advertised to candidates).

Configure job categories in job templates

If you have permission to create jobs in Job Builder, the Job Category selection step may now look different depending on how your Company/Account Admin has configured the template you're using. The category may already be pre-selected, limited to specific options, or open to all account categories.

What this means for you: When creating a job from a template, you may not need to choose a job category at all, or your options may be narrowed to only what's relevant for that role. This is controlled by your Company/Account Admin. Please contact your Company/Account Admin if you have questions about which categories are available for a specific template.

    How to access:

    1. In the upper-left corner, select All Apps, and then select My Jobs.
    2. In the upper-right corner, select + Create New Job.
    3. Enter and select the desired job template to build the job from, and then select Continue.
    4. Using the dropdown, select the job category, and then select Continue.
    5. Complete the rest of the job configuration.

Depending on your account configuration and user role permissions, the option to create a job from My Jobs may not be available. Job creation is template-based and restricted to users with the appropriate permissions. Please contact your Company/Account Admin if you have questions.

Edit brand in My Jobs for standard jobs

If your Company/Account Admin has enabled brand editing on a job template, you will now see a required Brand Name dropdown when posting or updating a standard job in My Jobs. You must select a brand before the job can be posted or updated.

What this means for you: If your company uses multiple brands, you can assign the correct brand at the moment of posting directly from My Jobs, without needing a separate template for each brand. If you see a Brand Name dropdown that wasn't there before, your Company/Account has enabled this feature on that template.

    How to access:

    1. In the upper-left corner, select All Apps, and then select My Jobs.
    2. Select + Create New Job, or open an existing job to update it.
    3. Update the job configuration as needed.
    4. If Brand Name displays, select the appropriate brand from the dropdown.
    5. Complete any remaining fields and select Post Job or Update Job Posting.

    Platform

Select All filter for filtering in the CEM

You can now select all available options in any multi-select filter in the Candidate Inbox with a single click. A new Select All option is available in every multi-select filter, including location, stage, job, source, and more.

What this means for you: Reviewing a full candidate pipeline across every location, stage, or source no longer requires clicking through every option individually. Select all at once, then deselect any you do not need, so you can build a complete view before narrowing it down.

    How to access:

    1. Navigate to the Candidate Inbox.
    2. Select the filter icon to open the filtering modal.
    3. Select the desired filter category.
    4. Select Select All to select every available option at once, or check specific options as needed.
    5. In the lower-right corner, select Apply.

Displaying inbound SMS reactions and improved emoji handling

Paradox now handles emoji-only messages and message reactions consistently across SMS and WhatsApp. Common emojis such as 👍, 👎, and 😊 receive natural-language responses, all other emojis prompt Paradox to ask the candidate to clarify, and message reactions (such as tapping a thumbs up on an SMS message) receive no response, keeping the conversation uninterrupted.

What this means for you: Candidate conversations that include emoji reactions or emoji-only messages no longer stall with confusing or irrelevant responses from your AI Assistant.

How to access: This update applies automatically to all candidate conversations in the Candidate Inbox. No action is required.
