While this feature is automatically available for Conversational ATS customers, the initial step before adding the Location Preference screening question is to create Location Attributes that can be used to group your locations. 

Configuration

Step #1: Update Location Attributes

Determine the naming convention that you want to use for these attributes and then work with a user who has full access to System Attributes to be able to complete the below steps.

1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
2. On the Settings page, select System Attributes under the Company section.
3. In the left panel of the System Attributes page, select Custom Location Attributes to open its list in the main screen.
4. Select the + Add Attribute button in the upper-right corner above the list.
5. In the drawer that opens, enter in the attribute details and then select Create.
6. Repeat these steps for all preferred location groupings if you want to have more than one.

Step #2: Assign Location Attribute values

All locations will be grouped together by their shared value. Therefore, users with full access to Location Management should only update the value for a location’s attribute that reflects the preferred location grouping.

1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
2. When the Settings page opens, select Location Management under the Permissions section.
3. In the left panel, open the first location from your area folders.
4. Scroll down to the Location Attributes section.
5. Select the pencil icon next to the preferred new Location Attribute that your CS Representative created.
6. In the slide-out drawer that opens, enter in an Attribute Value for this location.
7. Select Save in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
