Interview prep allows candidates and/or employees to review necessary materials before an interview takes place. This guide outlines how to create interview prep in the system.
Create interview prep
Interview prep cannot be pre-populated by Candidate or Job Attributes today.
The process of creating interview prep is the same for candidates and employees. In addition to this, preps can be built in all supported system languages as long as multilingual settings are enabled on the backend.
- Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
- Select Interview Prep in the Scheduling section of the Settings page.
- When the Interview Prep opens, select the New Interview Prep button.
Title & Audience section
- Enter a title for the interview prep.
- Select the preferred audience.
- If scheduling interviews via API, then enter an External ID that can be associated with this specific interview prep.
- Select Next in the top right corner of the section.
Content section
- Rename the document section, if preferred.
- Upload your preferred document file.
- To add more than one document, select + Add Document, upload your document file, and click Save. Repeat this step as needed.
- Note: A maximum of 10 documents can be uploaded to a single interview prep.
- (Optional) Add further instructions as needed from the + Add Additional Notes box.
- Select Next in the top right corner of the section.
Confirmation section
- Review the documents and notes added to this interview prep.
- Select Finish and Publish.
Available actions for uploaded documents
After multiple documents have been added to the interview prep, you are able to reorder, add an additional description, or delete the documents from the document’s action menu, or ellipses, which lives in the bottom right corner of the document's box.
