Events page Access to events My Events lists View and search for events Filter Sort Search bar List or card view View information

The Events list view allows you to view and filter a list of all upcoming, past, and recurring events.

    Events page

When the employee initially opens Events, they will be directed to the Upcoming Events list view. Within the Upcoming Events list view, all events that are upcoming (happening now and in the future) that the user has access to will display.

    Access to events

Your CS Representative is the only user who can view all events in an account. All other user roles, including Company/Account Admins, would need to be added to the Event Team or given access to the Enable Users to Manage All Hiring Events or Enable Users to Manage All Orientation Events permission in Roles and Permissions to see/manage events.

    • Note: If Campus is enabled for your account, a Company Admin can only see events and activities that they have permission to via the Campus Profiles permission.

    My Events lists

The My Events section includes three available event lists that can be opened from the left panel:

    • Upcoming Events – This list displays events that are current or upcoming.
    • Past Events – This list displays events that have been completed.
    • Recurring Events – This list displays all recurring events.

If you have Campus enabled for your account, then you will also see a Campus Plan section after My Events.

    View and search for events

The following functionality will help you search for and view specific events in your My Event lists.

    Filter

When filters are configured on either the Upcoming or Past Event list views, the pre-configured filters should be remembered when you leave and return back to the list.

This will open the filter modal, where you will be able to filter by various event details. It is important to note that this advanced filter will be applied to the Upcoming Events, Past Events, and Campus Plan lists.

    Filter options include:

    • Event Type
    • Venue Type
    • Brand (if Multi-Branding is enabled)
    • Event Venue
    • Candidate Location
    • Campus (if Campus is enabled)
    • Event Date Range
    • Interview Type
    • Event Status
      • Note: The Event Status allows for Upcoming and Past selections to be combined with Postponed and Cancelled options so that upi can have more complex searches when finding the preferred event.

After applying the desired filters, you can either click Apply to display the filtered view or click Save Segment to name and save the segment for the corresponding event list. Lists with applied filters will note the total number of filters in a red circle on the filter icon for easy reference.

    Important Notes:

    • If the sub-filters are grayed out or disabled within the selected filter section, that is because the feature(s) is(are) not enabled on the backend of your account.
    • Segment counters in the left panel will use the lazy load and apply cache for the number of events on the segment. When reloading the page, the number of events for a segment will not auto-update unless the user accesses that segment. This is because the cache expires every 30 minutes and automatically updates the number of events in each segment at that time.

    Sort

The sorting selector was updated to include the following options:

    • Date Ascending – This is the previous View All sort option. This will list the events from the most recent to the oldest.
    • Date Descending – This will list the events from the oldest to the most recent.
    • By Month – This will list the events based on month starting with the current month.

    Search bar

You can also user the search bar to find an event (or activity) in the list you are currently viewing. You can search by:

    • Name
    • Date
    • Month (abbreviated or full)
    • Year
    • Location Name
    • Campus Name
    • Event type (Virtual will populate all virtual hiring events and Orientation will populate all orientation events)

    List or card view

The list and widget icons allow you to adjust the manner in which events are displayed in the list. This experience is explained below:

    • List view – This will display events in a list format.
    • Card view – This will display events as cards.

    View information

Both views will include the following information for easy review:

    • Brand Icons – If Multi-branding is enabled for your account and the event is associated with a brand, then the logo for the selected brand will replace the flag icon, which is the default icon for orientation and hiring events.

      • Campus Events – If you have Multi-branding and Campus enabled for your account, then the school logo configured for the selected campus will be displayed here and the brand name will be a pill on the card. If no logo is configured, then a grad cap icon will display in its place.

    • Outstanding Tasks pill – This will display to Managers and Paradox Admins, notifying them of any outstanding tasks for the event.

    • Registered pill – If an event has only non-interview sessions created and a restriction on the total number of candidates who can register, then a Registration pill will display the total number of candidates registered for an event vs. available registrations. If an event has only non-interview sessions and unlimited registration, then the same pill will display as a total number of registered attendees.

    • Scheduled pill – This will display the number of candidates scheduled for an interview vs. the total number of interview slots. A blue border around this pill indicates that all interviews have been scheduled.

    • Orientation and Chat Booth pills – This will indicate the type of event occurring. If one of these pills is not displayed, then it is a hiring event.

    • Registration Closed pill – This will display with a blue border to indicate that all registration spots have been filled.
      • Note: This will be hidden for past events.

    • Date and Recurring Rules – This will display the date(s) of the event and include a Weekly Ending [Date] note underneath if the event is recurring.

    • Time – The time that the event takes place.

    • Location – The location of the event. Virtual will display if the event is virtual.

    • RSVP selector – This displays your RSVP status for the event. When invited to an event, your RSVP status will default to Pending RSVP unless you created the event. If you created the event, your RSVP status will default to Going. This can be updated by clicking the selector and changing the status to Not Going.

    • Ellipsis/action menu – When clicked, this menu will provide the ability to edit or delete the event.
